The-Babe's Good Novel
@The-Babe: Garfield`, I think a good novel would be where a bunch of men on a ship are looking for a whale. They look and look, but you know what? They never find him. And you know why they never find him? It doesn't say. The book leaves it up to you, the reader, to decide. Then, at the very end, there's a page you can lick and it tastes like Kool-Aid.

TWO FRIENDS
Two friends were walking
through the desert.
during some point of the
journey,they had an
argument; and one friend
slapped the other one
on the face.
the one who got slapped
was hurt, but without
saying anything,
wrote in the sand:
"TODAY MY BEST FRIEND
SLAPPED ME ON THE FACE."
They kept on walking,
until they found an oasis,
where they decided
to take a bath
the one who had been
slapped got stuck in the
mire and started drowning,
but the friend saved him.
After he recovered from
the near drowning,
he wrote on a stone:
"TODAY MY BEST FRIEND
SAVED MY LIFE ".
The friend who had slapped
and saved his best friend
asked him, "AFTER I HURT YOU,
YOU WROTE IN THE SAND AND NOW,
YOU WRITE ON A STONE, WHY?"
The friend replied:"WHEN SOMEONE HURTS US
WE SHOULD WRITE IT DOWN
IN SAND, WHERE WINDS OF
FORGIVENESS CAN ERASE IT AWAY.

The Spiderwick Chronicles (Book I, II & III)
Hooraaay!!! I finally got the first three volumes of the Spiderwick Chronicles Books!!! Ta ta ta! Something to read, collect, think and talk about over coffee in Starbucks!!! ta ta ta! ;p
Although, I know, I should been starting with the "A Series of Unfortunate Events" books but they are plenty and expensive to collect (13 volumes in all). And I want the hardbound edition which cost more than the Spiderwick Chronicles. However, the good thing is.... I already have the diary of the " A Series of Unfortunate Event" which I got from a bargain books sale in Katipunan for just P11.00--- PRESTO! But if you will see the tag price in the book store now it cost a looooot!!!!!
Anyway, I will get the other books after I collect and finish reading Spiderwick so, keep posted! ;D 'cuz I will be rattling about the stories soon!!!

In My Life
Six years ago, I was living in another condo and sharing the rent with two other roommates. One is a colleague and another was a schoolmate in college. At that time, cellular phone was the craze of age! I was happy as usual until one night a mysterious text message was sent to me by someone I don’t even know, the message reads….
Sa buhay ko,
mayroon akong minahal.
may minamahal
at siguro,
may mas mamahalin pa.
Alam mo
kung saan ka doon?
Ikaw yung …
BUHAY KO!
Translation in English:
In my life,
I have loved.
I love someone.
And perhaps,
will love even more.
Do you know

MY LIFE!
I have no idea who sent it but the message hits me. I never though I’d touch anybody’s heart in such a way like that and it’s so heart crushing that I didn’t even know. Never had any idea that there was someone out there…. If in anyway, I had broken his heart I’m sincerely sorry. But my ignorance isn’t to blame. Maybe, whoever that person is, maybe he didn’t have the courage or didn’t wanted to be in the way of my happiness ‘cuz I was with someone else at that time…. Anyway, I kept that message until my fone broke and I had a new one. I couldn’t retrace the message after I changed fone. But my mind knew the lines by heart. I have no idea what to do with it back then and how I wish to give it to someone I meant it to.
In the year 2005, the time came and I finally found the person to whom I should tell this poem. I wanted that person to remember it by heart in the way I did as it had made an impact on me. Unfortunately, that person and I parted ways. Although, I was able to tell it to him through chat but I also wanted him to have it in REALITY. Sadly, I was never able to send it to him even after for several times we almost reconciled back. So, to this very day I still keep that small note where I scribbled those English translations of the original Tagalog text message. I can’t help not to cry when I saw it again because that person means so much to me! I’d like to send it on Valentine to let him know, how much he means to me… back then…. and even now…Yes, until NOW! But then…again…it won’t matter anymore…. IN MY LIFE!

World’s Greatest and Deadliest Weapon
Have you ever wondered?
What is the world’s most powerful and deadliest weapon?
That man ever has? ----It’s WORDS.
The power of words,
can make you and unmake you!
They are the most useful
of all weapons that no one has ever thought of.
How much damage it can make to another human being is
sometimes beyond measure or consoling like the word SORRY!
Words are more deadly when spoken out of hatred, anger or out of being provoked.
Man lost control of himself,
And say things out of mean coldness and rudest of emotion.
He says things that he would later regret
However, once he comes to the point when his outburst had been fed,
Calmness would then reside.
But the guilt of hurting and saying mean things
That they truly never meant too, had all been said.
The harm has been done!
Words can make you, and unmake you!
Don’t use them as a tool to hurt people,
Like your family and friends or people who loves you and who you care about.
Don’t take them for GRANTED!
Just because they are your family and friends
Or because you knew they will love and accept you despite your faults
Or take refugee in the reason that you are ONLY HUMAN!
Those people are HUMAN TOO!
And need to be respected and treated with care!
They are not people whom you can dump your trash
And mean shits when you had enough.
Because they’ve done NOTHING WRONG to deserve the things you said!
Come to think, they were even there to SUPPORT and LOVE you!
So don’t you think you ought to do the same?
Instead of giving them bullshits.
Words can make you, and unmake you!
They are the world’s deadliest and most powerful weapon
Don’t abuse your fellow men with WORDS!
Because….
The trouble with words is,
Once said, they exist forever.
Once let loose,
They can’t be recaptured.
Once heard
They can’t ever really
Be forgotten!
In anger and weakness
Men would do the unthinkable---
Used WORDS to hurt others!
Don’t be like this!
As a REAL FRIEND

Instead of telling them DIDN’T I TELL YOU?!?
Where are you truly?

Wireless Door Bell, Knobs and Locks!
Heyas! Look!I just bought a doorbell that is capable of buzzing different kinds of sound and it also have blinking lights on the top and front.It's guaranteed to catch attention when it buzzes. I installed it in my room so in case when I will have a visitor and the person has no cellphone to inform me of the unexpected visit (say like my dad who can't text but can only make calls on his cellphone!!!) they can just press the doorbell and need not ask my landlord to open the door. SO, this way I have more privancy and also I installed a new double locks on my door and replaced the knob (!?!?)
Well, my old roomie transferred in another room but still in the same unit where I am living. However, I found out that she has not returned all her keys to the landlord and its been a month!!!.... in meaning she is probably snooping in my room when I am not home. BAD BAD BAD!!! So to those who share a room with someone not related to them should always make sure to change the locks when your room mate leaves to transfer in another room or place 'cuz you never know they may have duplicated the keys or didn't returned it and pretends to have lost them!
